Basic Course Student Exhibition opening Tomorrow evening for one night only!
Last week Thursday we had our Basic Course Student Exhibition. These evenings are always a big highlights in the course and definitely not to be missed!
Due to a lot of running around & last minute getting everything together, I didn’t take a single photograph of this last exhibition opening! :-( This however doesn’t take anything away from the very special evening that it turned out to be! The students really impressed me with their beautiful words & spontaneity of speach! It was a wonderful celebration to end off the course (and the year!) and I hope to see all of your lovely faces again next year for a weekend workshops! :-) Here’s some inspiration to make up for the lack of exhibition opening pics…
Please come join us on Thursday evening for some snacks & drinks & inspiring photography :-)
On Thursday evening we had our September Course Student exhibition at The Planet Art. Our students shared some thoughts on their work and judging by the expressions of the audience it all seemed rather captivating :-)
Our October Basic course is having their Student Exhibition on Thursday evening, 28 Oct., at The Planet Art. Please join us for some snacks & drinks and to view their amazing work!
Please note: Drive down Jamieson Street until you see the parking bays at the end of the cul de sac. You can park in any parking bay ensuring that you don’t park anybody in. Please enter through the first gate on your right hand side at the beginning of the parking bays. You will see a little courtyard through the gate and can buzz Siyanda. (It is the building before the main Planet Art building)
At the end of each Basic Course we get to celebrate the student’s work through an informal exhibition. The best of their work of is selected for this event. This is a fun evening where snacks & drinks are served, our students share on some of their photographs & certificates are handed out. The exhibition runs for one night only and each student get to take their prints home at the end of the evening.
Please join us for a snack & a drink, to view the latest student work and hear them share about their experiences on the course.
The exhibition turned out to be so much fun, filled with friends, family, supporters and loads of eats :-) One of my students even baked us a huge camera cake! Thank you Ghayro, this cake will go down in the history of Fast Forward!
